BATAVIA, Ohio — The first-ever Vintage Karting Association event at the beautiful Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati in the scenic rolling hills of southwest Ohio is set for this May 18-20.
Practice is slated for Thursday, May 18 with full days of vintage karting activity Friday and Saturday, May 19-20.
Two heats will run Friday with a kart show at 5pm. On Saturday we’ll have a third round of heats and awards to follow.
Camping is allowed but there are no hookups. Preferred reserved parking is available for $50 per 12×40 space. There are plenty of hotels in the Eastgate area of eastern Cincy, about 20 minutes from the track. There’s also a Days Inn a short drive from MCC in Batavia.
VKA will run MCC’s Legacy circuit, a 12-turn 0.70-mile layout. There are plenty technical corners, hairpins and an impressive 730’ front-straightaway.
