The Best of VKA – Vintage Karting Association’s 25th Anniversary

The Best of VKA – Vintage Karting Association’s 25th Anniversary

The salute of the Vintage Karting Association’s 25th Anniversary has started, and you can be part of it.

In 2000, twenty-five years ago, a bunch of vintage karters got together at a track in Sugar Hill, NH.  They were from all across the country … from California to New Hampshire and in between.  The next year, the Vintage Karting Association was incorporated in Nevada.

Over the next 25 years, over 1000 vintage karters have been part VKA, making it the oldest and largest vintage karting club in the United States.  Now is your opportunity to help VKA memorialize the success … be part of The Best of VKA effort.

The plan is to publish pictures of and information on those VKA members, active and inactive*, who have been part of the success.  The picture should be of you, holding your helmet, next to your kart(s).  This will serve several purposes:

  • Help document the 25th Anniversary membership.
  • Honor past members.
  • Let everyone see what you look like ON and OFF the track; and
  • Highlight you with your kart(s).
  • (Try to take the picture with a plain background.)

The information you provide will help your fellow vintage karters, and the public as a whole, know a little more about you, your karting history, and the success of VKA.

Fill-out the form (below) and have someone take a picture.  (You don’t need a professional photographer. Cell phone pictures a fine.)  Send both to KartNumber4@yahoo.com.

From there, the picture and the form will be posted on the VKA Facebook page as they come in.  As 2025 comes to a close, the plan is to publish all the submission in one place … suitable for printing.

Be part of The Best of VKA effort.  Submit your information and picture now!

* This will require membership support to provide names and information of inactive
members or members who have passed.
