Boy watch these Chinese tires and tubes! I had one blow up ! they are 2 ply rated (if that) and with little as 30 psi and a pin hole BOOM!.....the tires are rated as 28psi max.....The new Azusa rims have a rating on the rim 20 PSI so there has been a problem somewhere.....old rims and tires could be worse....The Duro seem ok and I have seated those no problem

the Azusa Rims have a Max rating of 30# not 20#. Azusa rims have little problem seating tires so hi seating pressure shouldn't be required. Race pressure is normally between 14 and 25#. After mounting a tire and just before inflating I spray the rim seating are and the tire seating area with WD 40. The tire is then slippery and has no problem seating. In an hour or so the WD 40 has evaporated or been absorbed by the tire. It is a common product to use on tires after races to put oil back into the rubber. I also use to to mount all motorcycle tires. By using this you also eliminate all moisture inside the tire/rim unlike water based products.
