I have seen conversation about the knock off Tillotson HL Series carbs.
Is anyone using them?
How are they working?
Are the Tillotson parts interchangable with these carbs?
Where can they be purchased??
I'd appreciate a PM or email answer..
Thanks.
Rick

Rick,
Are you asking about the 1" Tilly Stihl saw carbs? .. tons on ebay for 13-15 bucks.
Search keywords: "Carburetor Carb For Stihl 070 090"
I used a pair of those on the AH82 I built a while back, and run them on my MC5 engine, great value IMO. I think the holes are sized a tad lean for high reving engines, but I've run mine stock .. only drawback on these is the fixed main needle seat (it not removable) .. I'm pretty sure they use all the same small tilly diaphrams/gaskets, etc.. When you look on ebay, you will see a red rubber boot that covers the H/L needles, just yank and toss that. Do note the throttle shaft is short, hooking up to it requires creativity.
